Fantastic Ellen 2009

Ellen is one of the many Whitakers currently dominating the show jumping world, following in her uncles John and Michael's footsteps who are household names, famous for their outstanding achievements, which include Olympic, World and European championship medals.

Born into this family of show jumping legends, Ellen is part of the new generation who have inherited this talent and are taking the equestrian world by storm. 

Britain’s golden girl of Showjumping, Ellen Whitaker stormed to success at this year’s Horse of the Year.

The Caldene sponsored 23-year-old was in the ribbons throughout the week on her string of successful top horses. Ellen headed to HOYS on the back of several big wins, on the run up to the show and by the end of the week had captured another three titles from HOYS. 

Ellen also had another successful show at Olympia 2009.

Wowing the crowd at the UKs most festive show of the year Olympia, Ellen gave us a great performance.

Ellen feels Olympia is one of her favourite shows and makes a great start to christmas as it is combination of top-class show jumping with a majical enviroment.

Olympia rounded off a great successful year for Ellen and she  really couldn't complain.
